Lock users out of Made2Manage

Some system administration tasks require that no users work in the system. You can force users to sign out and prevent users from signing in.

Made2Manage allows ten minutes for signed-in users to save their work. After ten minutes, Made2Manage signs users out, even if they have not saved their work.

To lock users out of Made2Manage

  1. Open the User Status (DOWN) page.

    1. Select Utilities > Maintenance > User Status.

    Or

    1. Search for DOWN or User Status in the Navigation box and then select User Status.

    User Status (DOWN) page appears.

  2. To sign out all users:

    1. On the grid toolbar, click Log Off All.

      A message, Preparing to force ALL other users to logoff the system. Are you sure? appears.

    2. Click OK to sign out all users from Made2Manage.

  3. To sign out certain users:

    1. Click the names of the users you want to sign out.

    2. On the grid toolbar, click Log Off Selected.

    To change a selection, click Cancel Selected.

  4. You must remain signed in to Made2Manage to keep users locked out. Once you sign out, any user can sign back in.
