CAPA Library Page

You can use the CAPA Library page to add or remove CAPA.

To add a new CAPA from the CAPA Library Page

  1. Open the CAPA Library page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transaction > Quality > Non Conformance > CAPA Library.

      Or

    • Search for CAPA in the Navigation box and then select CAPA Library.
      The CAPA Library page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click New.

  3. In the Title field, type a title for the CAPA.

  4. In the Details field, type the details of the CAPA.

  5. Click Save to save the CAPA.

  6. If you don’t want the CAPA to be listed in the Look Up For CAPA window on the Non Conformance Request page, select Inactive from the status list.

To copy the details of an existing CAPA to a new CAPA

  1. Open the CAPA Library page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transaction > Quality > Non Conformance > CAPA Library.

      Or

    • Search for CAPA in the Navigation box and then select CAPA Library.
      The CAPA Library page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For CAPA Library window appears.

  3. Highlight the CAPA you want to copy and click Select or double-click the required row.

    TheTitle field and the Details field will be auto-populated based on your selection.

  4. On the Toolbar, click Copy.

  5. In the Title field, edit or change the title for the CAPA.

  6. In the Details field, edit or change the details of the CAPA if required.

  7. Click Save to save the CAPA.

  8. If you don’t want the CAPA to be listed in the Look Up For CAPA window on the Non Conformance Request page, select Inactive from the status list.

To change status of an existing CAPA

  1. Open the CAPA Library page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transaction > Quality > Non Conformance > CAPA Library.

      Or

    • Search for CAPA in the Navigation box and then select CAPA Library.
      The CAPA Library page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For CAPA Library window appears.

  3. Highlight the CAPA you want to change status and click Select or double-click the required row.

  4. Click the dropdown arrow on the status button to change the Status of the CAPA to Active or Inactive.

    When a CAPA’s status is changed toInactive, the CAPA will no longer be listed in the Lookup For CAPA window.

To delete an existing CAPA

  1. Open the CAPA Library page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transaction > Quality > Non Conformance > CAPA Library.

      Or

    • Search for CAPA in the Navigation box and then select CAPA Library.
      The CAPA Library page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For CAPA Library window appears.

  3. Highlight the CAPA you want to change status and click Select or double-click the required row.

  4. Click the dropdown arrow on the status button to change the Status of the CAPA to Inactive.

    The Delete icon appears on the Toolbar.

  5. On the Toolbar, click Delete.

    A message, Are you sure you would like to delete this record? displays.

  6. Click Ok to delete the entry. Or click Cancel to retain the entry.

    To delete a CAPA from the CAPA library, the CAPA should be inInactive status.
