Specify pages with no security using the User Permission Wizard

You may want all users to access some pages or reports irrespective of the user’s role or the department they belong to. Use the User Permission Wizard (PERMWIZ) page to specify these pages or reports.

You can mark only pages, reports, graphs, and executables asPages With No Security.

To specify pages with no security

  1. Open the User Permission Wizard (PERMWIZ) page.

    1. Select Utilities > Maintenance > User Permission Wizard.

    Or

    1. Search for PERMWIZ or User Permission Wizard in the Navigation box and then select User Permission Wizard.

    User Permission Wizard (PERMWIZ) page appears.

  2. Click the Screens With Default Permissions tab.

    Made2Manage lists all pages in the grid under the Screens section.

  3. Locate the page that you want to mark as the page with no security.

    In the blank field under theMnemonic column, type the page’s mnemonic or the first few characters of the mnemonic.

  4. Select the corresponding check box in the No Security column.

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all the required pages.

  6. On the Toolbar, click:

    • Save: To save the changes and remain in the wizard.

    • Save & Continue: To save the changes and move to the next tab of the User Permission Wizard (PERMWIZ) page.

    • Cancel: To discard the changes.

Restart Made2Manage if you have made any changes on theUser Permission Wizard (PERMWIZ) page.
