Set up barcode

The barcode feature lets your company use barcode equipment to work with Made2Manage. You can enter labor details, information about the shop floor equipment, and inventory transactions using the barcode feature.

Barcode setup also involves installing barcode hardware. For information, see the Installation Guide.

To set up barcode

  1. Select the barcode host computer, which is a computer you dedicate to barcode collection and posting.

  2. Install barcode posting software on the barcode host computer.

    See the Installation Guide.

  3. Select bar code symbology.

  4. Turn automatic posting on or off.

5. Print barcodes, including employee badges and the function sheet.
