Add field service-related sales order
You can create sales orders for service orders as long as the following are complete:

The service order has a status of (S) started, (A) active, (R) SO Opened, (W) Awaiting Field Report, and (I) SO invoiced.

You have assigned a technician to the service order.

You have set a date for the parts to be on site.
A part does not have to be listed. You can create a sales orderfor service labor only. You can enter a non-standard part.
To add field service-related sales order

Open the Field Service Control (FSORD) page.
a. Select Customer Relationship Management > CRM Transactions > Field Service> Field Service Control.
Or
b. Search for FSORD or Field Service Control in the Navigation box and then select Field Service Control.
The Field Service Control (FSORD) page appears.

Click the Parts Information tab.

Click Create Sales Order.
The Command (Create Sales Order) window appears.
A message, Use Estimated or Actual Costs to apply to the Sales Order? appears.

Click Estimates to have estimated costs applied to the sales order.
Or click Actuals to have actual costs applied to the sales order.
The Sales Order (SO) window opens and the system creates a sales order.
If you cannot select the Create Sales Order, make sure you meet the requirements listed above.
