Set default status of new item masters

If your company uses Engineering Change Management, you can select the default status to assign to new item masters.

To set the default status of new item masters

1. Open the Production (CSPROD) page.

   1. Select Utilities > Company Setup > Module Setup > Production.

   Or

   2. Search for CSPROD or Production in the Navigation box and then select Production.

   The Production (CSPROD) page appears.

2. Click the ECM tab.

3. In the Item Master section, select a value in the Default Status of New Item Master Records field.

   • Click Started to set the default status of new item masters to Started.

   • Click Active to set the default status of new item masters to Active.

4. On the toolbar, click Save. The default status is set to item masters.
