Add or remove month in production calendar

The production calendar shows your company’s overall shifts and working hours for each month. You can add a month to the production calendar at any time. You can remove past months so the schedule generates faster.

In scheduling, work center calendars override production calendars.

If your company has multiple production facilities, configure the production calendar for each facility.

To add or remove month in production calendar

  1. Open the Production Calendar (CALNDR) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Master Data > Production Calendar.

    Or

    1. Search for CALNDR or Production Calendar in the Navigation box and then select Production Calendar.

    Production Calendar (CALNDR) page appears.

  2. To add a month to the production calendar:

    1. On the Toolbar, click New.

    2. In the Facility dropdown, select the facility.

      Note: Default is the ONLY facility available.

    3. Select a month and year:

      • Click Next Month or Previous Month to select the required month.

      • In the center of the grid, click the month and year shown in the <Month YYYY> format.

        A calendar appears that shows months and years in two columns.

        1. Click the right or left arrow in the column that shows years, to show the years not seen in the column.

        2. Click the required month and year in the respective columns.

        3. Click OK.

          The Date box in the grid is updated automatically.

    4. In the No of Shifts box, enter the number of shifts.

      Set up the number of shifts in the Production Capacity (CSPC) page. Each shift is represented by a color.

    5. On the Toolbar, click Save.

      Or, click Cancel to discard the changes.

  3. To remove a month from the production calendar:

    1. On the Toolbar, click Delete.

      A message, Preparing to delete this entire ProductionCalendar. Are you sure? appears.

    2. Click OK to confirm.

      Click Cancel to exit.
