Store or remove posted tag records

To ensure you don’t re-post inventory tag counts and values, after posting them you must store the tag records or remove them.

When you prepare for physical inventory or cycle counting, you select the archive method for old tag records: store them or remove them.

To store or remove posted tag records

  1. Open the Phy Inventory Tag Control (PHYTAG) page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Inventory > Physical Inventory > Phy Inventory Tag Control.

    Or

    • Search for PHYTAG or Phy Inventory Tag Control in the Navigation box and then select Phy Inventory Tag Control.

    The Phy Inventory Tag Control (PHYTAG) page appears.

  2. Browse the Facility and select the facility from the Browse For PHY Inventory Tag Control window.

  3. Click the Archive Old Tag Records on the child toolbar.
