View an engineering change order

An Engineering Change Order (ECO) is a record that stores the information about engineering changes you select to manage. You can view the status and progress of an ECO at any time.

To view an engineering change order

  1. Open the ECO Summary (ECOSUM) page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Quality > Engineering Change Management > ECO Summary.

      Or

    • Search for ECOSUM or ECO Summary in the Navigation box and then select ECO Summary.
      The ECO Summary (ECOSUM) page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Search.

  3. In the appropriate fields, type the information you know about the record. For example, if you know the part number, type it in the Part Number field.

  4. On the Toolbar, click Search.

    If only one record matches the given criteria, that record is displayed. If more than one record matches the given criteria, the Search For ECO Summary window appears.

  5. In the Search For ECO Summary window, select the required record and click Select.

  6. Examine the information.

  7. Click Cancel to close the window.
