Create an Empty Project

In Microsoft Project, the project file must be saved before logging in. Create an empty project and save it.

  1. Select File > Save from the Microsoft Project menu or by using the Ctrl+S shortcut key.
  2. In the Save As dialog box, enter a file name and click Save , to save as file type .mpp.
