AI Assistant

The Aptean AI Assistant is a context-aware tool that provides guidance and relevant information while you work in AppCentral. It helps you stay productive by delivering suggestions based on your current screen, application, or workflow.

When you first log in to AppCentral, a prompt bar appears with information about the AI Assistant and a link to install the browser extension. The AI Assistant can be used across all supported Aptean applications.

Installing the AI Assistant

To use the AI Assistant, you need to install its browser extension. On the AppCentral screen, follow the prompt to install the extension, or navigate to User Menu > AI Assistant and click Install AI Browser Extension. The extension opens in a new browser tab. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm by clicking Add Extension. Once installed, the AI Assistant icon appears in your browser toolbar, indicating that it is ready for use.

Deploy extension for all users

Administrators can deploy the AI Assistant extension across the organization using Google Chrome Group Policy. To do this, navigate to User Menu > AI Assistant, click Install AI Browser Extension via Group Policy, and follow the steps in the deployment guide that opens in a new tab.
