What's New in AppCentral 1.6.0.0
Enhancements and Modifications
With this release, AppCentral introduces several enhancements designed to improve usability, streamline case management, and provide clearer system feedback.
Connect Enhancements
Community User Plus accounts can now manage users directly in AppCentral, including administration of permissions across supported products. This removes the need for separate management tools and simplifies user access control.
AppCentral Theme Selection
You can personalize AppCentral with a new theme selection option. Choose between a Bright theme or a Soft White theme from the theme dropdown next to the Show Notifications icon.
Support Cases – New “All Open” Filter
A new default filter, All Open, is now available for the Status field in the Support Cases tab. This allows you to quickly view all open cases without adjusting filters manually.
Updated Error Messages
Error messages throughout AppCentral have been rewritten for clarity. Technical codes have been replaced with plain-language explanations and suggested next steps, making it easier to understand and act on issues.
Resolved Issues
The following issues have been resolved in this release.
| ID | Description |
|---|---|
| 748893 | User import on the Admin portal failed when first or last name fields contained blank spaces. The import process now handles leading or trailing spaces correctly, and users are added without error. |
| 749177 | AppCentral users could not open Aptean CRM or Made2Manage ERP from the portal links. The system displayed an incorrect message that access required administrator setup. The links now work as expected and open the applications when access is available. |
