What's New in AppCentral 1.4.1.0
With this release, AppCentral introduces several enhancements to the Support Cases interface and delivers refinements to French and German translations. Additionally, improvements were made to the recently renamed Event Automations module, previously known as Business Event Manager.
Enhancements/Modifications
Event Automations
- Renamed Application: The application previously titled Business Event Manager is now labeled Event Automations for improved clarity and alignment with usage.
- Remove CRLF: A new tool has been added to easily remove line breaks from text. This simplifies formatting and improves readability when working with pasted or imported content.
- XML Helper Support: Enhancements have been added to support XML-based communication with older ERPs and APIs that use SOAP implementations.
Resolved issues
- Filtered Case Views Now Display Full Page Results: When filtering Support Cases, for example by status, results did not fully populate the current page. Pagination behavior has been corrected to ensure filtered data consistently fills the available space on each page, improving readability and user workflow.
- Status-Based Support Case Filtering Improvements: Support Cases can now be filtered by status, allowing users to quickly view either all open or all closed cases. This enhancement aligns with expected behavior and brings the filtering functionality in line with standard support workflows.
- Older Support Cases Now Accessible: Previously, some users were unable to open older support cases, even though newer ones opened as expected. The case access logic has been corrected to ensure all entitled cases, regardless of creation date, can now be viewed, opened, and edited without issue, restoring full visibility into historical support records.
- Improved French and German Translations: Several inconsistencies in the French and German user interfaces have been corrected. Updates include domain-specific terminology adjustments, alignment fixes for longer field labels, and standardized styling to prevent text overflow. These enhancements improve clarity, layout consistency, and the overall experience for international users.
