Enhancements/Modifications
Business Event Manager
Business Event Manager (BEM) is now available as a permission-controlled module in AppCentral. It enables users to design, organize, and manage business event flows from within the AppCentral interface, without needing to switch platforms.
- Smart Flow for Event Orchestration: The Smart Flow feature allows users to visually create and configure step-by-step event-driven workflows, including condition-based logic and task sequencing.
- Integrated Access Controls: Access to BEM is aligned with existing AppCentral permission models. Admin users can configure who has access to BEM using Access Management. By default, only Admin Group users have access, while other users require explicit permission.
- Folder-Based Flow Management: Flows can now be organized in folders, helping users better manage and categorize their automation logic across teams and use cases.
- Support for Import and Export: Smart Flows can be exported to and imported from JSON, simplifying deployment across environments and enabling better version control.
- Consistent AppCentral Experience: BEM is fully embedded within the AppCentral ecosystem, offering a consistent and intuitive user experience that aligns with other modules.
